Reading & Discussion Quizzes: 30%
This is a reading- and discussion-intensive course; we have regular, almost daily, in-class writing and quizzes, which will help you to focus your thoughts on specific readings and to prioritize your preparation for class and discussion. In other words, read early and often.
In-Class Exams: 40%
- Exam #1: Friday, 10/3 — 10%
- Exam #2: Wednesday, 11/5 — 10%
- Final Exam: Monday, 12/15 — 20%
Research Project & Presentation: 30%
